The Oklahoma Wing of the Civil Air Patrol meets at Gordon Cooper Technology Center each Tuesday at 6 p.m.

   Civil Air Patrol was founded in December 1941 after the attack on Pearl Harbor to organize defense of America's coastlines. CAP's mission now involves developing the nation's youth, assisting with emergency operations, and aerospace education.

   Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force.
