The Gordon Cooper Technology Center/ Macomb High School FIRST Robotics team 2341 received the Entrepreneurship Award and Safety Innovation Award at the OKC Regional this past weekend.

GCTC Pre-Engineering Academy chemistry teacher Kristi Stricklin, Industrial Coordinator Roger Farris, Industrial Instructor Brett Breedlove, Bid Assistance Coordinator David Hoffmeier and working engineers who mentor students on the team assisted during the competition. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is dedicated to inspiring young people's interest in science and technology.
