It's a Jungle Out There!
GCTC is hosting a Career Safari Summer Camp June 7-10 for ages 11-14. The camp runs from 8:15 a.m. to noon each day. Courses are offered at both the main campus in Shawnee and at the Seminole Campus. The cost is $50 per student.
Career Safari Summer Camp helps students explore opportunities available in the jungle of career choices. Students participate in hands-on activities as they scope out career possibilities in the workshop of their choice. Team building exercises and guest speakers are planned.
Class topics available at the main campus, Interstate 40 and Hwy. 18, include construction, alternative/renewable energy, health careers exploration, aviation exploration, nano technology, baby sitting boot camp, and bio science/robotics.
Class topics available at the Seminole Campus, 800 N. Harvey, Seminole, include photography, movie making, and automotive exploration.
