High winds Tuesday blew the snow into large drifts and scoured out all kinds of artistic shapes. The GCTC east parking lot was a massive drift that made for tough going for school tractors. 

Drifts outside the Student Services office were more than 4 feet deep. The largest drift outside the Students Services office wrapped on around the front walkway across the front of the superintendent's office.

Sunshine helped Wednesday, but icy winds continued to test the endurance of our superb Operations staff. All of us owe them our appreciation and an encouraging word. Thank you Operations staff!
