GCTC Carpentry student Trish H. of Tecumseh, whose campaign was “I’m a DWI - Determined Willing Individual”, was recently elected Western Region Representative for the Oklahoma SkillsUSA student organization. 

Representatives are responsible for effectively assisting in the growth of leadership at the state level as well as at the local and district levels through presentations, attitude and participation. Official training was held in Stillwater, where Trish worked with 15 students from across the state and three state advisors. 

She will represent GCTC and the state SkillsUSA team at the CTSO Day at the Capital Feb. 8.
