The GCTC Practical Nursing chapter of HOSA collected warm coats, gloves, and scarves for the Coats for Kids Ministry.

Coats for Kids founder Norma McKiddy of Tecumseh accepted the donation. So far this winter, the ministry has distributed 323 coats to children in need. 

Coats of Kids Ministry is at the northwest corner of Gordon Cooper Drive and Benson Park Road between Shawnee and Tecumseh. The ministry is open 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday except the Saturday before Christmas. 

The ministry requires that the child in need must be present when the coat is picked up. For more information call Norma at 598-1443. This is the 15th year Coats for Kids has been in operation.
